Returns and Refunds Policy
At Herbal Tinkerer, we take care to prepare and package our herbal teas, tonics and wellness products with attention to quality and freshness.
Because many of our products are consumable herbal products, we are unable to accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind, personal preference, or products that have been opened or used. This helps us maintain appropriate hygiene, safety and quality standards for all customers.
Change-of-Mind Returns
Please choose your products carefully before placing an order.
We do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds if you:

change your mind after placing an order;

order the wrong product;

decide that you no longer want the product;

do not like the taste, aroma or texture of a herbal tea or tonic;

experience results that differ from your expectations; or

have opened, used or consumed any part of the product.
If you notice an error immediately after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to update or cancel your order if it has not yet been packed or dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled due to change of mind.
Incorrect Products
If we send you a product that is different from the product you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your delivery.
Please include:

your order number;

the name of the product you ordered;

the name of the product you received; and
-
a clear photo of the product and its packaging.
Once we have reviewed the issue, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, such as sending the correct product or providing a refund where applicable. We will cover any reasonable return shipping costs if the incorrectly supplied product needs to be returned.
Products Damaged During Shipping
If your order arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery.
To help us resolve the issue promptly, please provide:

your order number;

clear photos of the damaged product;

photos of the outer packaging and shipping label; and

a brief description of the damage.
Please keep the damaged product and its packaging until we advise whether a return is required. Once the issue has been assessed, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, such as a replacement or refund where applicable.
Faulty or Defective Products
If you believe that a product is faulty, defective, unsafe, or materially different from its description, please contact us with your order details and a clear explanation of the issue.
We may request photos or other information so that we can assess the product and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies that you may have under Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a replacement, refund or another remedy if a product does not meet a consumer guarantee.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund after it has been approved.
